In April 2024, a homeowner on William Street in Boonton called Kraus Restoration after a supply line under their kitchen sink burst while they were at work.
By the time they returned, water had spread into the adjoining dining area and seeped beneath hardwood flooring.
Our project manager Jade led the response. She guided the homeowners through their insurance claim, explained each step of the drying process, and — as a dog lover herself — made sure the family’s two pets could stay comfortably at home during the cleanup.
The team extracted the water, removed the toe-kicks beneath cabinetry, and set up targeted drying mats.
Within 48 hours, the floor moisture levels were back to normal, and no replacement was needed.
